Cancer profoundly affects not only those who have it, but their families and friends as well. There are over 200 different types of cancer that can develop in almost any part of the body. Statistically, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will develop cancer at some point in their lives. Prostate cancer strikes 1 in 6 American men.

The Sir Peter and Lady Michael Foundation exists to promote advances and breakthroughs in prostate cancer research and science.

Because in this particular field of endeavor, it can truly be said that knowledge is hope.


The Sir Peter and Lady Michael Foundation is now accepting ticket reservations for its annual Hands & Hearts For Cancer, New York event at the world famous restaurant, Per Se.  Guests are invited by the Foundation, represented by Paul and Emily Michael, to enjoy the culinary artistry of Chef Thomas Keller and the exceptional wines of Peter Michael Winery to support innovative prostate cancer research.  The event takes place on Thursday, April 30, 2009 at 6:00 PM.  To purchase tickets, click here.
